Elena's Light Joins Muslims Giving Back to Donate Air Conditioners to Families in Need

On June 12, Elena's Light joined with Muslims Giving Back (MGB) to deliver air conditioners to 40 families in the community. MGB is a group working in the New York area to deliver essential items to families in need and has collaborated with Elena's Light multiple times before on diaper and food drives. After posting about their 2nd annual "Beat the Heat Campaign," the Elena's Light team gathered a list of EL families most in need of air conditioners.

Elena's Light is proud to collaborate with community partners and organizations to connect our families with the services they most need. Our team is looking forward to receiving more donations in the future from other organizations to share with our most vulnerable community members in Connecticut. In the past we have worked with organizations such as Neighbors for Refugees, Amazon, and All Goods and are excited to continue these and other partnerships.
